My husband’s sister found out almost 3 years ago that she suffered from Celiac disease. Since my husband is a MAJOR bread lover and saw her go through that, we’ve been cutting things out here and there just to be careful. So when I was asked to try and talk about Udi’s hotdog buns I couldn’t say no. Especially since Owen recognized their logo and apparently knew they’d send cookies too. When my sample pack arrived I just knew the best way to showcase them would be a “staycation” picnic.
Around here we all like our hotdogs a little different. Jeffery loves his with grill marks and loaded with cheese. Me? Well I like mine well charred with a bit of ketchup and relish. So delicious! Of course we picked the perfect day for a picnic BUT a horrible day for my camera to die on us. I liked that they tasted just like a normal bun. Apparently to Owen they must’ve tasted better because he never eats buns with his hotdogs but he did with these. Jeff thought they tasted a little different but he’s being stubborn with the switching. Udi’s is available in over 150 Walmart stores and even have a handy locator on their site, which is always a welcoming thing. Unfortunately our Walmarts are not carrying them yet but I have quite a few other stores near-by that offers a great selection of Udi’s products.
Even though we’re not concerned (at the moment) with a need to be gluten free I really like that we have a tasty option in Udi’s that also has no artificial ingredients, no GMO’s, and I noticed very little preservatives. It’s easy to see why they are the #1 gluten free baked goods brand.
