Biographical Info

I’ve worked as a social worker and therapist in New York City for over 20 years. My introduction to trauma therapy began on Rikers Island with incarcerated mothers struggling with addiction, and lead to work with two communities close to my heart—gay men living with HIV/AIDS and veterans.

I’ve supported a wide range of people, including healthcare professionals, performers, veterans, incarcerated women, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Some come to therapy to process trauma or PTSD; others seek help with anxiety, burnout, or the overwhelm of modern life.

I’m trained in EMDR, a trauma-focused therapy; Gestalt Therapy, a mind–body approach; and CBT/DBT, which help build self-regulation, mindfulness, and healthier beliefs. My goal is to help people understand their experiences, work through what’s painful, and move forward with greater clarity and steadiness.

In sessions, we slow down and make space to reconnect with what’s real. I’m particularly interested in how social media, AI, and constant technological change affect us and our nervous systems — for better and for worse. I see therapy as an antidote to today’s overstimulation—an anchor in a world that rarely lets us pause.
