The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ provides state-of-the-art care for children and adolescents with diabetes and pediatric endocrine disorders. Our team is led by Dr. Zoltan Antal and incorporates the expertise of pediatric endocrinologists, certified diabetes educators, nurses, nutritionists, and pediatric nurse practitioners. We treat patients age up to 21 years old as new patients and 24 years old as follow-up patient age. We provide collaborative care in partnership with child psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other subspecialists in the Department of Pediatrics.

Pediatric Psychology services are available for patients seen in Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ pediatric medical divisions. Youth with acute or chronic medical illness are at greater risk for mental health concerns. The Pediatric Psychology Service provides short-term mental health consultation and treatment and collaborates directly with your child’s medical team. If you are interested in seeing a provider, please ask your medical team for a referral.

Treatments of endocrine disorders are complex and may include oral medication, daily home injections or specialized in-office injections on a recurring basis.
We also offer more detailed diagnostics if needed, including testing for growth hormone deficiency, early or delayed puberty, or adrenal insufficiency. These specialized tests are scheduled separately.
