Personal Statement

It has been a lifelong ambition of mine to find a balance between honoring the science of medicine and listening to the needs of my patients. I had a long career at HSS supporting individuals in a very specific way – helping them to navigate the intricacies of elective orthopedic surgery before and after their procedures. In a hospital setting, we worked together to minimize risk and overcome existent medical challenges, all while managing personal stresses and individual concerns. Though the range of circumstances in a primary care may be broader, I’m hopeful that I’ll carry the same knowledge and understanding of the latest medical science while never forgetting to hear to what my patients have to say. Over time, I’m hopeful this will allow me to cultivate meaningful, professional-yet-personal connections, which are fundamental to cultivate long-term health and wellness. I’m honored to join Weill Cornell and am excited to be part of the team!
