Biographical Info

Ezra Gabbay is a hospitalist, nephrologist and ethicist with decades of experience as a clinician, award-winning educator and scholar. 

Ezra Gabbay’s academic interests include medical ethics, medical humanities, medical education, the influence of cultural and religious beliefs on patient choices in medical care, outcomes research in dialysis, electrolyte abnormalities, geriatric nephrology, quality of life research, end of life decision-making and prognostic evaluation. He chairs the Ethics Committee ant NYP-LMH and is an Associate Editor at the Journal of Religion and Health, and on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Law Medicine and Ethics.
