This weekend (and well Monday lol) we spent at the baseball field for playoffs. The boys worked hard to get to the Championship game on Monday night … including a 2nd round playoff game that had THREE extra innings (this is his last year on Coach pitch and in this ‘division’ they play 5 innings) AND Owen hit the game winning double!! We ended up being #1 for our division and despite a well played championship game, 2nd overall for the season. We ended with a 10-6 record. I’m so proud of all the boys. The preseason looked a lot like they were going to goof off and not focus but they played hard as a TEAM and it showed. I’m so proud of how focused Owen was this season and I am excited for Play Pitch next year! Here are some of my favorite pics from this weekend:

Aw, I love seeing little sports players!
I remember when my parents would take me out to ball games. It teaches a lot to children: Finish what you start, be a team player… If or when I have children, sports are definitely something I’d encourage. It gives a certain self confidence.
Anyways, it sounds like your boys had tons of fun. Hope they keep it up!
